_aThis study was conducted to evaluate the extent of readiness of Science administrators and teachers in the implementation of K to 12 Program. To do this, the researcher secured the list of public secondary schools approved by the Department of Education (DepEd) in Manila to offer the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics strand. The researcher constructed a self-made survey instrument anchored on the school improvement plan prescribed by the DepEd. Experts in the area of education and related fields served as consultants in validating the instrument. The survey questionnaire was subjected to the Cronbach's Alpha test of reliability to determine its internal consistency or average correlation of items to gauge its reliability. There respondents in the study were teachers from six Manila secondary public schools. Data gathering took over two months while the structured interviews were conducted for two weeks. Guide questions were based from the validated instrument as a follow-up to the respondents' answers to the survey questions. Results show that both administrators and teachers strongly agree that they are using the spiral approach in teaching science, moderately agree that their visual aids in class are based on the K to 12 Curriculum and that their schools are provided with clinics and medical supplies to ensure good health and safety of students while in the school premises. These items on curriculum, resource materials and facilities, respectively, obtained the highest rating among the items included per category. The study revealed that there was significant difference in the extent of implementation of K to 12 when it comes to curriculum and resource materials as perceived by administrators and teachers. However, no significant difference was seen by both administrators and teachers as regards to school facilities. Similarly, it was found that there were no significant differences among the profile (age, educational attainment and years of service) of the respondents and their extent of readiness in terms of curriculum, resource materials and facilities. BAsed on the findings, a proposed Science Education Enrichment Program (SEEP) for administrators and teachers was created.
