_aABSTRACT: Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila prepares nursing students to become productive future members of their chosen profession. PLM nursing faculty members, in general, guide the students in accomplishing the course with quality education. Need is a holistic requirement for the well-being of an individual. These needs of the educators must be provided to impel them to perform their job at full efficiency. Maslow's hierarchy of needs shall be the basis for determining the level of needs satisfaction of the Nursing faculty members in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship needs satisfaction, teaching performance and profile of the Nursing Faculty in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. The study involved 17 full-time lecturer who were selected from the College of Nursing using the purposive sampling technique. The descriptive- Correlational design was utilized in this study. To answer the problems, the following statistical tools were applied: frequency and percentage for respondents profile; weighted mean for the level of needs satisfaction and teaching performance; and chi square for the relationship of needs satisfaction and teaching performance of PLM nursing faculty. In terms of profile, it was found out that most of the respondents belong to the following: age bracket 31-34 years old (29.41%), female (70.59%), married (47.06%), single (47.06%), with Master's Unit (64.71%), Instructor I (52.94%), 1-3 years and 11 months length of service (35.29%), having a monthly salary of Php10,000 and above, and with 0-3 number of dependents. The level of teaching performance of the respondents was assessed using the Student's Faculty Evaluation questionnaire and it was revealed that the PLM nursing faculty members teaching performance was graded with the overall mean 2.03. On the other hand, the level of needs satisfaction of PLM nursing faculty obtained a weighted mean of 3.37 and was verbally interpreted as highly satisfied. Safety and security needs, love and belongingness needs and self-esteem needs were found to have a significant relationship to teaching performance of PLM nursing faculty member. On the other hand, physiologic needs and self-actualization needs have no significant relationship with the PLM faculty members teaching performance. Only the educational attainment was revealed to have a significant relationship to needs satisfaction of PLM nursing faculty members. Moreover, it was revealed that there is no significant relationship between teaching performance and the PLM nursing faculty members profile. It was therefore concluded that the research null hypotheses stating that there is no relationship among needs satisfaction, teaching performance and profile of PLM nursing faculty members was accepted.
