_aABSTRACT: This study dared to determine the spiritual beliefs and practices of nurses in two (2) selected government in Metro Manila. The researchers tested if there is no significant differences between the religious affiliation of nurses and their delivery of holistic nursing care; and if there is no significant differences between the spiritual beliefs and practices of catholic and non-catholic. The descriptive correlational method was utilized in the study. A total of eighty-eight (88) nurses was taken from two (2) selected government in Metro Manila. Purposive sampling technique was used in choosing the respondents. The data were collected through questionnaire checklist, and unstructured interviews. The data gathered were statistically measured such as percentage weighted means, and chi-square. Profile data showed that majority of the respondents were female married, 31-40 years old, and have a length of nursing practice of five to fifteen years. Roman Catholic religious affiliation was prevalent among respondents. The extent of the spiritual beliefs and practices of nurses were very high. And the extent to which nurses delivered nursing care was very outstanding. The testing of hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance established a no significant difference between the religious affiliation and nurse's delivery of holistic nursing care. The spiritual beliefs and practices were also initiated that there is no significant difference to the religious affiliation. Based on the findings of the study it is recommended that nurses should maintain and enhanced their practices in delivering a suitable care to the patient. To the essential nursing education of nurses, they must intensify the spiritual perspective of nurses. It is also recommended that strategies be proposed for strengthen the effectiveness on delivering holistic care to the patient such as discerning of personal and spiritual values and beliefs through self-awareness and relationships to other people and a Higher being.
