_aABSTRACT: There are different types of educational experiences that exist, from hands-on apprenticeship to role-playing from demonstration to reading printed out text. From these, the educators believe that their role as teachers basically contributes to the training of the students to assume future societal roles. To respond to the students needs, the educators resort to infinitely varied means, among them audiovisual aids. The purpose of this study was to investigate on the relationship of Audio-Visual Teaching Strategy and Post-Test Performance of Selected Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Students. Specifically, this research aimed to know the common audio-visual teaching strategies utilized the lectures in terms of PowerPoint, models, instructional videos, and role playing. Thereafter, the extent of use of audio-visual teaching strategies by the lectures in terms of the said Audio Visual Teaching Strategies was sought. The researchers used descriptive, non-experimental method of research. A survey questionnaire was administered to determine the extent of use of audio visual teaching strategies. Moreover, the level of performance of students was gathered from the professors to determine if audio visual teaching strategies relate to the performance of students. The result show that there is a high general weighted mean on the extent of use of Audio-Visual Teaching Strategy on the majority of the student-respondents from the different colleges of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila that experienced utilization of Audio-visual teaching strategies during class discussions. Aside from that, as computed with the use of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), the resulting computed level of significance is 0.01 which means that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. This indicates that there is a significant relationship between the utilization of Audio-visual teaching strategy and the Post-test performance of selected Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila students. These findings emphasize that the educators and administrators can use these audio visual teaching strategies to present lessons in the classroom for easy understanding of the students. Moreover, a long term basis is needed to further assess the relationship of Audio Visual Teaching Strategy to the level of performance of students.
