_aThe study aimed to investigate the correlation between the Filipino family system and Personality Adjustment of married couples living with in-laws. Samples were 30 married couples living with in-laws from the three districts of Barangay Bagumbayan, Taguig City; as selected through cluster grouping random sampling. The results of the study were as follows: (1) The Filipino family system profile of couples living with in-laws, in terms of finances, autonomy, and child discipline gave a poor response; while decision-making showed good results. (2) A. The personality adjustment profile of the husband respondents showed an average personality adjustment on submissiveness. B. The personality adjustment profile of the husband respondents showed poor personality adjustment profile on Home Adjustment, Emotionality, and Hostility. C. The personality adjustment profile of the wife respondents was average on Home Adjustment and Hostility. D. The personality adjustment profile of the wife respondents was poor on Submissiveness and Emotionality. (3) A. There are no significant gender differences between husband and wife based on Submissiveness and Emotionality personality adjustment variables. B. There are significant differences between husband and wife based on Home Adjustment and Hostility personality adjustment variables. (4A) 1. There is no significant relationship between Finances and Home Adjustment. 2. There is no significant relationship between Finances and Hostility. 3.
