_a _aABSTRACT : This study aimed to determine the personality traits and test anxiety of students with learning difficulties and its relationships. This is in support to the Department of Education (DEPED) vision of providing quality education for all filipinos by 2015. It is perceived that by 2015, students with or without learning difficulties would be able to have a successful journey in their school life. A descriptive-correlational design was employed in this research. Respondents were randomly selected from ten secondary schools in Quezon City comprising of both male and female fourth year students. Results showed that there is a significant relationship between test anxiety and neuroticism among the respondents when grouped according to gender. Likewise, among females a significant relationship is also found between test anxiety and neuroticism among the respondents when grouped according to gender. Likewise, among females a significant relationship is also found between test anxiety and agreeableness and conscienctiousness. In term of age, test anxiety level is related to neuroticism, openness, and agreeableness. Test anxiety, neuroticism, and conscientiousness are significantly correlated with birth order. In terms of mental ability, test anxiety is significantly related to neuroticism, openness, extraversion and agreeableness. When it comes to subject difficulty, test anxiety is found to be significantly related to neuroticism and conscientiousness. To further analyze the data, a regression analysis was applied.
