_aABSTRACT : To clarify notions on concepts of the filipino woman, transcendence, empowerment, freedom and equality, and to provide a possible groundwork for laws on women, what is Simone de Beauvior's existenlialist feminist philosophy? and how does Beauviors' existentialist feminist philosophy read the provisions of the Philippine Magna Carta of Women?' A critical exploration of Existentialist Feminism was done by tracing how Existentialist Feminism of Beauvoir, the historical context during her time, to the influences of her philosophy and her ferminism. Further, themes of Beauvior's Existentialist Feminism were distinctly and comprehensively elaborated on as an offshoot of the development of the said philosophy. Upon establishing the cornerstones that compromise Existentialist Feminism, the substantive provisions of the Magna Carta of Women were read in the Beauvoirian perspective. Altogether, the results of the results yielded to a contribution in extracting the picture of the Filipino woman based on the deeper understanding of the Philippine Magna Carta for Women in the context of Beauvior's philosophy through situation and facticity, trancendence, death, reciprocity and ambiguity.
