There were 18 declarative statements representing responses in the academic area and another 21 in the clinical area. The said responses were categorized into three domains of learning namely cognitive, psychomotor and affective. The tool made use of a five-point Likert scale as its mode of responses. Based on the results, the respondents experienced high coping responses both on their academic and clinical environment stressors. There is no significant relationship between the coping responses of the nursing students in their academic and clinical environment. Furthermore, there is no significant difference between the coping responses as perceived by the nursing students and as observed by the clinical instructors in the academic and clinical settings. The high coping responses of nursing students both in their academic and clinical environment served as a basis for the maintenance and enhancement for a holistic stress management program for students.
