Abstract The growth of e-commerce in the Philippines has made it easier for customers to access a wider variety of goods and services online, but it has also created challenges for consumers who struggle to make informed purchasing decisions. As a result, online customer reviews have become increasingly significant, providing assurance and trust to buyers. This study aims to investigate how online customer reviews affect purchasing decisions in the e-commerce sector and what factors influence their reliability. By understanding this relationship, both businesses and customers can benefit from the increased transparency and reliability of online transactions, ultimately helping to boost revenue and customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the role of online customer reviews in shaping the purchasing decisions of consumers in the e-commerce industry. The study will examine the factors that influence the credibility of online customer reviews and their impact on the purchasing decisions. The study collected 265 responses from government employees at Manila City Hall. The study concluded that online reviews factors which are the rates, comments, and media shapes the purchasing decisions of government employees at Manila City Hall.
