EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: TYPE AND LOCATION OF BUSINESS: Burp Avenue is a general partnership developed to operate as a fast-food restaurant. It shall be located within Robinson's Place Ermita in the City of Manila. COMPANY SUMMARY: Countless businesses venture the food industry which offers burger, pasta, and rice. A number of food chain stores topped the country's list. Inside the malls, they are always seen operating. These food outlets offer identical menus but what is distinct in them is the taste of their produce and their promotions. Their products and services are ever-acceptable to Filipinos. For these reasons, they attain the stability which other companies, local or foreign-based are still working at. Filipinos are good in accepting anything which comes from a foreign land but it is a fact that Jollibee is a Filipino-based one and still grab the No. 1 slot in the world of business. To determine the factors relative to choice of entering a fast-food business, a research study was found necessary. In addition to the research, a survey shall likewise be conducted to determine the catering of specific food products. Based on the foregoing premises, BURP Avenue chose to operate as a fast-food restaurant though competition is wide. It shall cater fast-food dishes which are offered by other companies that gained Filipino acceptance. The company shall focus on the purpose of operation which is financial stability towards its goal for expansion. MANAGEMENT: The partners shall handle the management of the business which will be beneficial to the business considering authority and interest. They shall hold the ten (10) key positions in BURP Avenue for particular offices requiring services and decision-making. They shall have direct authorities over the staff on operations. An organizational chart shall be formulated to aid proper flow of management and operations. PRODUCT /SERVICE AND COMPETITION: Burp Avenue is a local business which offers food that caters Filipino and foreign tastes. The menus shall therefore attract not only Filipinos but foreigners as well. It shall offer menu beyond expectation. BURP Avenue shall give what the customers require. The company shall cater burger, pasta, fries and mixed rice. While the regular menu of other burger house offers standard ones, BURP Avenue's touch is to give customers a freedom to choose add-ons. The pasta served will have a choice of a particular sauce for oneself. Mixed rice dish shall be stirred fry with a variety of ingredients out of personal preference. All menus shall be based on customer's selection and not basic to what the company offer. Rendering of good service is one of the good qualities of Filipinos. Filipinos are industrious and hard working and have a great value with service for fair compensation. Proper training of personnel by BURP Avenue shall include Filipino values to produce competent workers. To ensure excellent services. BURP Avenue shall consider the factors on the right choice of people on the floor, extensive training, monitoring of performance and good supervision. The detailed job descriptions on assignments and formulation of policies shall likewise be implemented to create productive people. FUND REQUIRED: BURP Avenue shall require a Php 4,000,000.00 capital to meet the financial requirements of the business which shall include pre-organizational and pre-operating expenses, purchase of necessary materials and supplies. Considering the financial flow as assumed, additional funding may be necessary considering the terms of the partnership. USE OF FUNDING: During the normal flow of operation, the sales proceeds shall be used to pay expenses. Regular monitoring of funds and disbursements shall be conducted for purpose of keeping the business financially stable. FINANCIAL PROJECTIONS: Based on assumptions, the financial status of the company shall be determined. The minimal projections in cost were considered based on the aim to maximise sales. The return of investment is expected to be 20% in five years. EXIT: Upon the termination of the business agreement, the provisions on dissolution shall be effective. The contract may however be renewed to maintain the business for whatever reason including the establishment of additional outlets if found feasible and rewarding. Investors may be accepted to enter the business provided the partners agree to the act of franchising
