ABSTRACT: Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila does not only cater academic excellence, it also offers a future in the field of sports. PLM, for some time now train students who wants to excel in their chosen sport. They produced players in baseball, volleyball, lawn tennis, badminton, table tennis and chess. They compete against different schools with the goal of victory in the end. Among these sports mentioned, basketball is one of the major sports that the university gives focuses on. These, young group of students train hard to improve themselves each time they train. One major problem that they encounter everyday is the occurrence of muscle soreness. This is a condition that hinders them to give their one hundred percent. In line with this, the researchers formulated a warm up and cool down exercise program in the hope of decreasing the occurrence of muscle soreness that would improve the players performance.
